Great for new students, those returning to their yoga practice after a long break, and anyone looking for a gentler class, this class will include basic yoga postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation/meditation techniques.
Enjoy a classic yoga experience with warm-ups, body-strengthening postures, breathing practices, and relaxation techniques. Modifications for postures will be offered for those with less experience and/or physical limitations. Beginners are welcome in this class.
Our gentlest class ever will give those suffering from chronic pain or fatigue a chance to discover how enjoyable a yoga practice can be! Led by an instructor with nearly thirty years’ experience as a physical therapist.
If you are plus-sized, it can be intimidating to attend a yoga class, but it doesn't have to be that way! Yoga has no shape, no size, and no judgement - it's a journey of self-connecting with each breath. In this class, we'll use chairs, blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps, and other props to help you find the version of each yoga pose that works for you and feels good for your body. This is a non-competitive environment, with plenty of encouragement and a lighthearted approach. No need for fancy yoga clothes; just wear something you can stretch in and a top that doesn't flop over your head when you bend forward. If you can breathe and notice, you can practice yoga!

Join us for our monthly restorative session and take some time to de-stress and recharge your batteries! Restorative yoga uses long-held, supported resting poses to create the conditions for us to cultivate the skill of conscious relaxation and most importantly to release unnecessary habitual tension in the body and mind. Class will include gentle stretches on the floor at the beginning of class, mindful breathing, guided imagery, and meditation. We’ll use blankets and bolsters (cushions) for maximum comfort and relaxation. This class is perfect for ALL levels of physical ability. Wear comfy clothes and feel free to bring your favorite pillow or blanket.
